Along with 9 other artists in Peterborough, I was invited to participate in Nene Park Trust’s 42words project.
Seeking to highlight the significant role played by parks over the Coronavirus crisis, the trust invited members of the public, their staff, volunteers and more to submit words that capture what green spaces such as Nene Park had meant to them over this time.
Each artist was then given 4 words create work in response to, work which would then be site in the park, in particular locations that we may wish to reference in the work itself.
We had a week to produce each piece, which could manifest in all forms: diagrams, poems, hand written pieces and more.
Having spent much of the 3.5 years of my time in Peterborough in Nene Park, in these particular locations, it was a pleasure to make work that responded to these particular sites.
Below you can see an image of my work, sited in the park (more coming!).
